These hand carved Nativity sets largely represent the work of Bethlehem and the Holy Land's finest Christian artisan, our dear friend Jeries Facouseh. Jeries' workshop, where most of our Nativites are hand carved, is on Manger Street in Bethlehem, not far from the site where the Lord Jesus was born. The Holy Land olive wood that is used to hand carve these Nativity sets is from the Galilee region, where the Lord Jesus based His ministry. These hand carved Nativity sets are all made from Holy Land olive tree prunings, a practice that prolongs the life of these sometimes centuries old trees. Each of our hand carved Nativity sets are coated with a lovely polyurethane finish to protect the Nativity and bring out every lovely detail of the hand carving and naturally beautiful Holy Land olive wood. These hand carved Nativity scenes are just Christmas Nativity sets. You will want to leave these hand carved Nativities out the year round.
