Our holding crosses are designed to be held in prayer and are sometimes called prayer crosses. When used in prayer our holding crosses remind us of why we are able to draw near to the Lord.

All of our holding crosses are carved in the Bethlehem Olivart carving factory of our dear friend Jeries Facouseh, located on Manger Street near the site where the Lord Jesus was born. The Holy Land olive wood used to carve these holding crosses is from the Galilee region of Israel, where the Lord Jesus spent much of His earthly life. These facts do not give our holding crosses any mystical power, but they do stir the soul.

Our holding crosses are also called hand crosses because they are designed to fit inside ones hand. Another name for the holding cross is a palm cross because they are held in the palm of ones hand.

The Holy Land olive wood used to carve these holding crosses is processed in a most environmentally friendly manner. The wood for these wooden holding crosses is from prunings of Holy Land olive trees. By using prunings to make our holding crosses we have a renewable natural resource.
