These beautiful praying hands statues are not just simple figurines. Each lovely praying hands (sometimes called "prayer hands" statue) is hand carved from Holy Land olive wood by Christian craftsmen in Bethlehem, the birthplace of the Lord Jesus. Each of our fine olive wood praying hands statues are unique, being handcrafted and each piece of the natural Holy Land olive wood having its' own original character. No olive trees are desroyed in making these lovely praying hands statues. Our lovely praying hands statues are all made in the workshop of our dear friend Jeries Facouseh. Jeries not only carves all of these lovely wooden praying hands statues, he carves nearly all of our beautiful Christian statues. Each praying hands statue is hand carved in the Facouseh olive wood workshop on Manger Street in Bethlehem, not far from where the Lord Jesus was born. Jeries carves his olive wood praying hands statues from Galilee area olive wood. These praying hands statues are made near where the Lord was born from Holy Land olive wood that grew where He spent the majority of His earthly life.

Our carved wooden praying hands statues and all of our lovely Christian statues are made from prunings of Holy Land olive trees.This practice peserves the life and health of these sometimes centuries old Holy Land trees. Our lovely praying hands statues are also coated with a polyurethane finish. This gives a beautiful lustre to these lovely praying hands statues and accentuates the naturally beautiful olive wood grain.
