Hand carved from lovely Holy Land olive wood, this contemporary (faceless) wooden Nativity set is made in the Bethlehem carving factory of Jeries Facouseh, the premier Nativity artisan of the Holy Land. The contemporary Nativity figurines average 5" tall with each set having its own unique character with no two pieces of Holy Land olive wood being exactly the same. The wooden Nativity stable is a work of art into itself being made from blocks of olive wood with a rounded roof supported by two olive wood logs. All of the Holy Land olive wood used to carve this contemporary wooden Nativity scene is from prunings of Holy Land olive trees. By using prunings to carve our hand carved wooden Nativity sets we help preserve the life and health of Holy Land olive trees. The Olivart carving factory of Jeries Facouseh, where all of our wooden Nativity sets are hand carved, is on Manger Street in Bethlehem, not far from the site where the Lord Jesus was born.
