This unique and lovely modern art wooden statue of the Holy Family is hand carved from prunings of Holy Land olive trees, a practice that preserves the life of these sometimes centuries old trees. Our dear friend Jeries Facouseh, the premier Catholic religious statuary carver of the Holy Land, carves this contemporary wooden sculpture of the Holy Family in his Manger Street carving shop, just a few minutes walk from the site where the Lord Jesus was born.
