This unique olive wood Nativity set comes with a 12 piece set of hand carved Nativity figurines (average height 5")and a very unique and beautiful Nativity stable. The figurines with this unique Nativity set are the Baby Jesus, manger (His bed), the Virgin Mary, Joseph, 4 stable animals, 1 shepherd and 3 wise men. The lovely Nativity stable is crafted from blocks of Holy Land olive wood and features a roof made of olive wood wedges with the bark left intact and supported by 2 small olive wood logs.
The workshop of Jeries Facouseh, where this unique olive wood Nativity set is carved, is on Manger Street in Bethlehem, not far from the site where the Lord Jesus was born. The Holy Land olive wood used to make this unique Nativity set is from prunings of Holy Land olive trees, a process that preserves the life of these sometimes very old olive trees.
