This exquisite olive wood Nativity set comes with a 12 piece set of very detailed hand carved figurines. (5" average height) The set includes the Baby Jesus, His bed (the manger), Mary, Joseph, 3 wise men, 1 shepherd and 4 animals. The lovely stable (not to be confused with the manger, which was a stone feeding trough that was used for a bed for Baby Jesus) is handcrafted from blocks of Holy Land olive wood. At the top of the olive wood Nativity stable there is an angel, on the left is a lovely palm tree and the star of Bethlehem is on the right.
