This lovely hand carved olive wood crucifix is a unique Catholic gift item by our Christian artisans of Bethlehem. The four points of the olivewood wall cross are beautifully rounded to form the Roman Byzantine cross. On each of the four points three pieces of olive wood is attatched symbolizing The Holy Trinity. The olive wood crucifix is made of 14 pieces to symbolize the 14 stations of the Cross(Via Dolorosa). Delicate Mother of Pearl (Abalone) forms a elegant rectangular border the figure of our Lord in His agony is reverently displayed. A fine finish of polyurethane protects and enhances the delightful natural beauty of the olive wood and its grain.
