Jeries carves this lovely Blessed Mother Virgin Mary statue from one piece of Holy Land olive wood and then exquisitely situates the carving on a base of mahogany. The Facouseh Olivart carving shop, where all of our olive wood Blessed Mother and Catholic statuary is hand carved, is located about a 10 minute walk from the site where the Virgin Mary gave birth to the Lord Jesus. Jeries uses prunings of Holy Land olive trees to carve our beautiful Catholic religious statuary, giving us a renewable natural resource.
