We use prunings of Holy Land olive trees to carve all of our Catholic religious statues. For a pruning this large, we have to take it from a very old Holy Land olive tree. The drying time for the wood and the carving time for this large magnificent Virgin Mary statue takes over a year. We do not think you will find a finer Catholic religious statue anywhere in the world.
