This lovely carved olive wood statue of Jesus Carrying the Cross is lovingly sculpted by Christian olive wood craftsmen in the Holy City of Bethlehem. This special Holy Land olive wood figurine shows the Lord Jesus slightly stooped over as the Cross became heavy to bear. This reverent olive wood sculpture of Jesus is carved from one select piece of Holy Land olive wood and shows a detailed representation of the anguished face of the Lord and the crown of thorns that was placed on His head. The wooden Cross is laid upon Him with the crossbeam laid accross His back. The statue of Jesus carrying the Cross is given a fine finish of polyurethane to protect the statue and accentuate the lovely grain of the Holy Land olive wood. You will receive a "Made in Bethlehem" certificate of authenticity and underneath the statue you will find a seal of authenticity as well.
