This spectacular Crucifix is found only here at Holy Land Treasures USA. Hand crafted from Holy Land olive wood in Bethlehem by Christian artisans, this beautiful Crucifix has a great deal of symbolic meaning. It is called a Roman Byzantine Crucifix and also a Fourteen Stations Crucifix. The unique Crucifix is made from 14 pieces of Holy Land olive wood to symbolize the Via Dolorosa, or the fourteen stations of the Cross. Each arm of the lovely Crucifix is made from three pieces of olive wood to symbolize the Holy Trinity. There are 5 small glass windows containing articles from the Holy Land (Clockwise from top of crucifix)olive leaves, Holy Land stones, Holy Land soil, incense and yellow Rose of Sharon behind the Corpus. Alternating blocks of abalone delicately line the perimeter of the lovely Crucifix. This beautiful Crucifix also has the Fourteen Stations of the Cross stamped on the back. We do not think that you will find a lovlier 11" Crucifix in the world.
