The workshop of Catholic artisan Jeries Facouseh, where this St. Joseph statue is carved, is on Manger Street in Bethlehem, not far from where the Lord Jesus was born. The Holy Land olive wood used to carve this St. Joseph statue is from the Galilee region, where the Lord Jesus based His ministry. The olive wood used for this statue is from Holy land olive tree prunings and no olive trees were destroyed in the process. The St. Joseph statue is coated with a polyuethane finish to protect the statue and give a beautiful lustre to the naturally beautiful Holy Land olive wood.
