This unique, exquisite Nativity set is made near the site of Jesus' birth by Christian artisans from select Holy Land olive wood. Rich in detail and beauty and found only here at Holy Land Treasures USA, this Nativity set is a must for the Nativity collector. To the right of the Nativity stable is a bell and belltower made to resemble the ones on the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, the church built over the site of His birthplace. The entire Nativity scene stable is constructed from elagant blocks of Holy Land olive wood with the floor of the stable given a smooth finish so that the Nativity figurines will set level and the back wall of the Nativity stable given a textured surface to emulate stone. (Many call the Nativity stable a manger but the manger was the feeding trough that Mary used for a bed for Baby Jesus.) The beautiful 11 piece Nativity figurine set includes the Baby Jesus lying in a manger, Mary, Joseph (with staff), one shepherd (with staff), three wise men, one cow, one donkey and two sheep. The floor of the Nativity stable is beautifully edged with small dimples carved into the lovely olive wood, the star of Bethlehem adorns the roof and to the left of the Nativity scene stable is a beautiful palm tree, full of detail. The entire indoor Nativity scene is given a fine finish of polyurethane to protect the Nativity set and accentuate the lovely Holy Land olive wood. With this lovely Nativity set you will receive a "Made in Bethlehem" certificate of authenticity and our lovely gift card featuring a picture of the Garden of Gethsemane and the Mount of Olives.
