This contemporary Christmas Nativity set is hand carved in the Bethlehem workshop of the premier Christian artisan of the Holy Land, our dear friend Jeries Facouseh. Jeries uses Holy Land olive wood from the Galilee region (he likes the consistency) to carve this Christmas Nativity. All of the olive wood comes from prunings of Holy Land olive trees, a process that destroys no trees and promotes the health of the tree from which it is taken. Jeries Facouseh's workshop, where this faceless Christmas Nativity set is made in its entirety, is on Manger Street in Bethlehem, not far from the site where the Lord Jesus was born.
