Read about the Origin of Nativity Sets
Most of our Christmas Nativity sets are hand carved in the workshop of the premier Nativity artisan of the Holy Land, our dear friend Jeries Facouseh. Jeries just takes his art of crafting indoor Christmas Nativity scenes to a level that no one elso comes close to. His sets are hand carved from Holy Land olive wood in the Facouseh workshop on Manger Street in Bethlehem, not far from the site where the Lord Jesus was born. The Holy Land olive wood used to carve these Christmas Nativities is from olive tree prunings from the Galilee, where the Lord spent the majority of His earthly life. Jeries and his team carve every Christmas Nativity set to meticulous perfection and when his sets are placed beside other Nativity sets from the area there is no comparison. Jeries not only makes an heirloom quality Christmas Nativity scene, he is a fine, godly man as well, and one of the dearest friends that Ricky Anderson, owner of Holy Land Treasures USA, has on this earth.
On all of our Christmas nativity sets we feature olive wood Nativity figurines carved exclusively by Jeries and his team. We have also taken Nativity stables made in some other quality workshops and combined with the figurines that Jeries carves to produce Christmas Nativity set combinations that can be found nowhere else but here at Holy Land Treasures. With some of our scenes we combine items like one of our Nativity tealight candle holders or a pair of olive wood candlesticks with the Nativity set. These Christmas Nativities are very unique and elegant and extend our Nativity customers a great savings compared to purchasing the items individually.
