This Crucifix is a masterpiece that combines a hand carved olive wood Corpus with our walnut wood "Story of Jesus" cross. The cross is designed and made in the USA by Holy Land Treasures owner Ricky Anderson and is rich in symbolism. To commemorate the 33 years of the Lord's earthly life Ricky uses 33 separate pieces of wood to make the cross. There are four spokes coming out from the center to represent the 4 Gospels (St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke and St. John). The center cross is made from 3 pieces of wood and is 3 layers thick to represent the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Corpus and INRI are hand carved from Holy Land (Israel) olive wood in the Bethlehem carving shop of Christian artisan Jeries Facouseh, just a few minutes walk from where Christ our Lord was born. A framed description of the "Story of Jesus" cross comes with this large wooden Crucifix along with our gift card.
