This cross does not contain ancient relics. This wooden wall cross is made in biblical Bethlehem from Holy Land (Israel) olive wood and features 4 inset glass containers with articles (sometimes referred to as relics) from the Holy Land. Rich in symbolism, this style of cross is called the "Fourteen Stations Cross". It is made from 14 separate pieces of olive wood to represent the 14 Stations of the Cross in Jerusalem. This is also known as the Via Dolorosa. Each arm of the cross is made from 3 pieces of olive wood to represent the Holy Trinity. This large 15 inch wooden wall cross comes with a certificate of authenticity and our gift card.

The 4 Holy Land articles (relics) in the cross are (clockwise from top) Holy Land olive leaves, frankincense, soil and stones. These articles sometimes vary. This wooden cross is made in the biblical Bethlehem olive wood carving shop of Christian artisan Jeries Facouseh, just a few minutes walk from where Jesus our Lord was born.
