It features a hand carved olive wood Corpus made in biblical Bethlehem in the carving shop of Christian artisan Jeries Facouseh, just a few minutes walk from where Jesus our Lord was born. The "Story of Jesus" cross is designed and handcrafted in the USA by Holy Land Treasures owner Ricky Anderson and is rich in symbolism. Ricky makes the cross from naturally beautiful walnut wood. He uses 33 pieces of wood to make the cross to represent the 33 years of the Lord's earthly life. The center cross is made from 3 pieces of wood and is 3 layers thick to represent the Holy Trinity. The 4 spokes coming from the center of the cross represent the 4 Gospels, St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke and St. John. A framed explanation comes with this large wooden Catholic wall Crucifix along with our gift card.
