About this Four Foot Large Hand Carved Roman Wall Crucifix with Relics
This four-foot olive wood and mahogany wall crucifix is a true masterpiece of wood working craftsmanship. The design is both unique and filled with Christian symbolism. The cross is designed in the Roman style and includes three glass inserts containing Holy Land soil, olive leaves, and Frankincense.
WOOD AND ORIGIN: The large hand-carved wooden Crucifix with INRI plaque is 4 feet tall and made from Holy Land (Israel) olive wood in the biblical Bethlehem carving shop of Christian artisan Jeries Facouseh. Jeries trims this large wall Crucifix in a deep rich mahogany wood where he then places 3 inset containers with relics.
SYMBOLIZM: The cross design with budded cross tips is typically referred to as a Roman cross. The main cross represents Christ. The four smaller crosses represent Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the need to spread the word of Christ to all four corners of the earth.
RELICS: Three glass containers are imbedded in the mahogany wood at three cross tips. The relics include Holy Land soil, olive leaves, and Frankincense.
