About this Large St. John the Baptist Statue 15 Inches Tall
A beautiful depiction of Saint John the Baptist is the creation of expert woodworking Christian artisan Jeries Facouseh. The statue of Saint John features the saint as he is preaching with one arm held high and the other holding a cross-staff. His foot is positioned on a rock and around his belt is the cup used to baptize the newly converted. At the base are the words St. John.
The statue is impeccably carved with exquisite details. Only one piece of olive wood is used to individually craft this gorgeous statue. The olive wood is genuine and is sourced from Galilee from olive wood tree prunings making certain that no tree was ever harmed in the process. Jeries' woodworking shop can be found in biblical Bethlehem, just a few minutes walk from where Jesus Christ our Lord was born.
